Kami Lee Ellis, 27, of Nappanee, died at 12:09 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, in an automobile accident in Milford.

She was born June 3, 1987, in Elkhart to Rick and LaVona (Searfoss) Ellis.

Kami lived her lifetime in this area. She was a 2006 graduate of NorthWood High School. She was employed at Dwyer Instruments in Wakarusa. Kami was a member of the Nappanee American Legion. Kami loved her cat, Leo and was a special aunt to her nieces, Aubree and Brinn. She enjoyed electronics, horses and country music.

Kami is survived by her mother: Lavonna (Gary) Martz, Nappanee; her father: Rick Ellis, Nappanee; twin sister: Kayla Ellis, Nappanee; sister: Amy Ellis, Nappanee; and nieces: Aubree and Brinn Ellis, Nappanee.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tom Schiefer officiating. Cremation will follow. Inurnment will be in South Union Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Nappanee American Legion.
