Ellen D STumpEllen D. ‘Ellie’ Stump, 81, of North Webster, passed away at 3:35 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Millers Merry Manor in Columbia City.

She was born on April 5, 1933, in Cromwell, to Roy A. and Estella (Correll) Miller.

She was a lifetime North Webster area resident and attended North Webster High School. On Dec. 3, 1949, in Etna Green, at the United Methodist Parsonage she was married to Jack L. Stump who survives. She was a homemaker and formerly worked for G & W Pizza in Syracuse and Lyall Electric in North Webster. She was a member of Salem Community Church in Wilmot.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters: Debbie (Kurt) Church, Huntington; Diane (Jerry) Schuh, Warsaw; one son: David (Nancy) Stump, Ligonier; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Kathryn (James) Bartley, Syracuse; Helen Wagoner, North Webster.

She was preceded by her parents, two sisters: Mildred Cotton and Jane Campbell;
and a brother: Joe Miller.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and C.R. 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Colby officiating. Burial will follow at the Salem Cemetery in Wilmot.
