Eugene Warrix, 66, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart.

He was born on June 22, 1948, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Zene Warrix and Julie (Meadows) Warrix. He lived most of his life in Warsaw area.

He worked 35 years as a truck driver for varies trucking companies. He retired in 2003. Eugene was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved old movies.

He is survived by his daughter: Georgia Warrix, Vancouver, Wash.; two sons: Jason Warrix, Warsaw; Michael Warrix, Vancouver, Wash.; former-wife: Connie Warrix, Warsaw; sister: Sheila ‘Cathy’ Brenden, The Dallas, Ore

He was preceded in death by a brother: Larry Warrix.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the funeral home.
