Carolyn Ann Stidham, 65, of Columbia City, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014.

She was born Jan. 12, 1949, in Warsaw, a daughter of Roy Elmer and Ruth Joan (Brower) Combs. She graduated from South Whitley High School and Patricia Stevens Air Career College in Chicago.

On May 7, 1971, she was united in marriage to David B. Stidham. They have always made their home in Richland Township, Whitley County.

After 34 years of service, Carolyn retired from Zimmer this year.

Her church membership was with First Church of God.

Surviving relatives include her husband, David; three children, Brian S. (Jamie) Stidham of Pierceton, Brandi J. (Bradley) Treesh of Fort Wayne and Brad E. (Jean) Stidham of Columbia City; 13 grandchildren; and a sister, Debra (Donald) Humerickhouse of Palmetto FL.

Her parents preceded her in death.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery. The visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
