Sandy Crilow, 70, of Wakarusa, formerly of Nappanee, passed away at 12:10 p.m., Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

She was born Oct. 19, 1944, in Goshen, to Lamar Kenneth and Maxine (Shenenan) Warren. Sandy lived her lifetime in this area. She was a 1962 graduate of Nappanee High School. On Aug. 21, 1964, she married Ernest Crilow in Nappanee.

She was a homemaker and “family caretaker” and had attended First Church of God and Yellow Creek Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her husband; daughters: Justine Crilow, Nappanee; Kelly (Travis) Benson, Sioux Falls, S.D.; grandchildren: Rylee, Sydney, Clare, Emeric, Dominic Benson; sister: Sharon (Ronald) Hughes, Galivants Ferry, S.C.; and stepfather: Don LeCount.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Maxine and Lamar Warren.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 18, at the church. Officiating will be Rev. Wes Bontreger and burial will be in Union Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Hospice or United Cancer Services of Elkhart County. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
