img015_crop (350x264)Jalaine Brumfield, 58, of Warsaw, passed away at 12:03 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born on May 12, 1956, in Warsaw, to Richard and Geneal (Sponseller) Heagy.

She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She was a member of Alpha Beta Si Sorority. She worked for the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office. Jalaine enjoyed doing cross stitch, playing cards, cooking, loved to watch cooking shows and reading cookbooks. She was an avid Pepsi fan, that is “regular Pepsi”.

She is survived by her daughter: Jorie (Nick) Coon, Warsaw; a son: Jared Brumfield, Warsaw; a sister: Nanette (Lester) Piece, Warsaw; a brother: Hal (Geri) Heagy, Warsaw; her mother; and four grandchildren: Brody Haines, Claire Coon, Dakotah Coon and Jacob Brumfield.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Burial will be private in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
