Rev. Dortha E. Culver, 95, formerly of North Webster, passed away on Dec. 2, 2014, in Mesa, Ariz.

She was born on Dec. 2, 1919, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Maryland and Hazel (Boyer) Greer. On Jan. 8, 1938, she married Kenneth Culver. He preceded her in death. On Jan. 8, 1938, she married Kenneth Culver who preceded her in death. She graduated from the Nazarene Bible College with her bachelors degree in 1976.

She went on to become an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in Arizona. She was a pastor for over 50 years. Dortha learned how to play piano at age 55. She visited 49 of the 50 states.

She is survived by her two daughters: Rosalie Starkweather and Rebecca Mahan; two sons; Randall and Joseph Culver; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; four sisters – Letha, Anna, Lucille, and Katheryn; two brothers: Junior and Verland.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Eastlund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the North Webster cemetery.
