Bernice E. Ross, 80, Rochester, Ind., passed away at 12:25 a.m., Monday, Dec. 1, at Life Care Center of Rochester.

On Nov. 5, 1934, Bernice was born to Albert L. and Violet Rose Burgess Davis.

Bernice and Wilmer Ross were married in 1974, he passed away in February of 1986.

Bernice is lovingly remembered by a daughter: Barbara Justice Miller, Rochester; a son: Charles (Linda) Davis, Smithville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren: Shannon (Michael) Davis, Egly, Tenn., Anthony Davis, Fort Wayne, Nicole Davis, Tennessee, Larry (Kate ) Justice, Tennessee, Michelle (Jamie) Schnitz, Rochester, Michael (Angie) Justice, Tennessee, Scott Justice, Tennessee; 15 great grandchildren; and a sister: Brenda Sue Prince, Rochester.

Preceding Bernice in death are her parents, husband, two sisters: Audrey Prince, Redith Marie Lee; and five brothers: Albert “Pete” Davis, Dallas Davis, Tallas Davis and James Davis.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 4 at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th Street, Rochester. A celebration of life will follow. Pastor Matt Elliott will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
