Lois Conrad Lois Conrad, 78, Rochester, passed away today at 2:02 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at the Evangelical Home in Sterling Heights, Mich.

She was born on Oct. 2, 1936, in Knoblick, Ky., to Homer and Blanche Yates Bennett. Growing up as one of eleven children, she shared her childhood with six sisters and four brothers. Lois and Howard L. Conrad were married on June 23, 1965, in Edmonton, Ky. He preceded her in death.

In addition to being a mom and homemaker, Lois worked for Topps Manufacturing, was a receptionist at Textron Corporation and served Rochester Middle School as an instructional assistant for a number of years. She was a 43 year member of the Grace United Methodist Church and was a member of the Christian Service Guild.

She is survived by two daughters: Faith (Gregory) Seader, McComb, Mich.; Hope (Ryan) Showley, Rochester; four grandchildren: Lauren and Taylor Showley; Abigail and Nathaniel Seader; four sisters: Florence (Lloyd) Mattson; Betty (Kenny) Lowery; Linda Priore; Sharon (William) Steele; three brothers: Donnie (Wanda) Bennett; Harold (Roxanne) Bennett; Jimmy (Linda) Bennett; sister-in-laws: Helen (Clyde) Bick; Bonnie (Ross) Fear.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters: Valera Fudge and Eldene Bennett; and a brother: O’Dell Bennett.

Rev. Maurice Grindle will officiate services. She will be laid to eternal rest next to her beloved husband Howard in the Richland Center Cemetery.
