A quartet of outstanding players and a coach from the area have been chosen as part of the North team for an All-Star high school tennis event.

The roster for the North squad for the ICGSA North/South Senior Tennis All-Star Cup includes senior standout Kennedy Walter of NorthWood. Also named to the 12-player team are Cameron Moore of Penn, Ellen Smith of Plymouth and Sid Corrigan of South Bend St. Joseph.

Eric Bowers, a NorthWood graduate and the coach at Penn, will serve as co-coach of the North team.

The All-Star Cup is slated for Sunday, June 15 at 10 a.m. at Marian University in Indianapolis.
