Steven J. Holbrook, 62, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014, in his residence.
On June 28, 1951, he was born in Warsaw, to Richard and Vera JoAnn (Babcock) Holbrook. He was united in marriage to Barbara Vickers on Sept. 29, 1973, in Warsaw, who survives.
Steven was owner and sign painter of Holbrook Signs for eighteen years and then was a truck driver for Cripe Mobile Home Transport. He attended Palestine Bible Church and loved the Chicago Bears. He lived is life for God and his family. He loved his family very much and was a great husband, dad and grandpa.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters: Angela Seiman, Warsaw; Tina (Brian) Gilstrap, Warsaw; Michelle (Tracy) Blocher, Warsaw; his son; Joshua (Heather) Holbrook, Claypool, Ind.; 13 grandchildren: Zakk, Tyler, Tiffani, Dustin, Nichole, Kyle, Isaac, Katelynn, Jakob, Brooklyn, Bailey, Deakyn and Brady; two great-grandchildren: Serenity and Natalie; his mother: Vera JoAnn Holbrook, Warsaw; and his brother: Doug Holbrook, Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at the funeral chapel. A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Rick Stewart officiating.
