IMG_265966074952Michael M. ‘Mike’ Donovan, 61, of Warsaw, passed away 9:56 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, in Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born April 12, 1953, in Goshen, to Robert and Helen (Bontrager) Donovan.

He was a lifetime Warsaw resident. He earned an Associates Degree in communications from Ball State University, where he was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity. In addition, he attended broadcasting school in Columbus. He was employed by WRSW Radio in advertising sales and was formerly a sales manager for Warsaw Motors and employed by Brown’s automotive and Munson Chevrolet, all of Warsaw. He was a member of the Walnut Creek United Methodist Church and the Warsaw Elks Club.

He is survived by a son: Justin (Raven) Donovan, Warsaw; brothers: Jerry (Kay) Donovan, Goshen; Ron (Charlene) Donovan, Opp, Ala.; and grandchildren: Tyis Michael, Aaliyah and Remy Donovan, all of Warsaw.

He was preceded by by his parents; brother: Robert Donovan; and stepfather: Dick Bennett.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at McHatton-Sadler Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at Violett Cemetery, Goshen, at 11 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 26, with Chaplain Denny Bollenbacher officiating.
