Eldon E. Schweisberger, 84, of Bremen passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Elkhart Hospice House.

Schweisberger was born on May 1, 1930, in Wyatt to Ray and Marie (Kaser) Schweisberger.

He graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 1948 and went on to honorably serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Schweisberger worked for Studebaker and Liberty Coach; he also cared for his mother for many years.

Schsweisberger formerly attended Bremen United Methodist Church and was a member of the Bremen VFW.

He is survived by two sisters, Joann Young of Bourbon and Marlene Hueni of Bremen. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service with military honors will take place at noon, Monday, Nov. 24, at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Pastor Chuck Kreig will officiate with burial following at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
