CULVER – The Triton baseball team saw its season come to a close Thursday night.

The Trojans dropped a 5-3 final to South Central in opening round action of the Class 1-A Culver Sectional.

Triton finishes the campaign at 10-15. South Central will take a 12-14 mark into a sectional semifinal game on Saturday.

Seth Flenar and Grant Stichter each had a double for the Trojans.

South Central will play Oregon-Davis Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Argos then plays Culver in the second semifinal. The championship game will be on Monday.
