The Trojans will travel to South Central next Tuesday night to face the host Satellites in a Class 1-A regional game.

South Central, located in LaPorte County, will host the one-game regional starting at 5:30 p.m. EST.

Tickets for the game are $6 each and will only be available at the site on game night.

Triton defeated Hamilton 10-0 in five innings Tuesday night to win its own sectional championship. The Trojans are 22-6 on the season, which ties the program record for wins set last year.

The Trojans have won two straight sectional championships and three in school history. They lost 9-0 to Lakewood Park Christian in the regional in 2013. Lakewood Park Christian went on to win its second straight Class 1-A state championship a year ago and were moved up to Class 2-A this year.

South Central, 17-6 on the season, defeated LaCrosse 7-1 Wednesday night in the title game of the LaCrosse Sectional. The Satellites beat Culver 19-4 in the sectional semifinals.

South Central has won 10 sectional titles in program history, including three of the last four.

The winner of Tuesday night’s game will advance to the four-team Clinton Prairie Semistate on June 7.
