Voss To Assist Haiti’s World Cup Dreams

WINONA LAKE – Grace’s women’s soccer coach Michael Voss will do his part to help the Haitian Women’s National Team qualify for the 2015 FIFA World Cup over the next week.

Voss, an assistant coach for Haiti, will be on the sidelines for Haiti’s three World Cup qualifying matches as part of the Caribbean Football Union’s Caribbean Cup. Haiti will face Guadeloupe on Friday, Suriname on Sunday and Cuba on Tuesday, June 3. Haiti’s “Group 4” games will be held at Park Bayas Mirebalais Stadium in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

The 2014 CFU Caribbean Cup features five groups of four teams. The winner of each group along with the top-two second-place finishers will advance to the next round of qualification to be held from August 19-24. The championship of the Caribbean Cup will be held on August 26 in Trinidad and Tobago.
