High, ColleenColleen A. High, 86, of North Manchester, passed away at 6:57 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born in Wabash County, to Richard and Eva (Eby) Reiken on May 18, 1928. She first married Jack Ben Foust. He preceded her in death. She then married Raymond B. High Jr. on Oct. 14, 1976. He died Sept. 26, 2002.

She was a homemaker and worked at Peabody Seating Co., North Manchester, and Controls, North Manchester. Her family and her animals were her life. She enjoyed going to Wal-Mart and KFC. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and watching old westerns.

She is survived by her companion: William Beeney, North Manchester; two sons: Rock (Belinda) Foust, North Manchester; and Jack Foust, Mooresville, N.C.; one daughter: Janet (Paul) Daniel, Servia; two step-sons: Wade High, San Diego, Calif.; and Dan (Kathleen) Barger, Baltimore, M.D.; two step-daughters: Jody Long, Martinsville; and Lori (Joel) Johannsen, Lafayette; grandchildren: Brian (Meghan) Foust, North Manchester; Dane Foust, North Manchester; Colleena (David) Jimenez, North Manchester; Sabrina (Ron) France, Bremen; Tony Daniel, North Manchester; Tonya (Jeff) Arrington, North Carolina; Jack Ben (Heather) Foust III, North Carolina; Heather (Rex) Addair, North Manchester; Amanda Conley, North Manchester; great-grandchildren; Karrissa and Morgyn Jimenez; Zoey France; Mason and Tristan Hattabaugh; Ryder, Anthony and Easton Foust; Cody and Caleb Arrington; Brianna and Kaley Foust; Kaidyn and Koltyn Alexander; Isabella Miller; Trey, Brianna and Peyton Addair; Ryle Huffman; Shyanne and Angelica Conley; Kain Wenger.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Stacy Foust and Shane Hoffman; one great-grandchild: Chase Foust; three brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. McKee Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
