Mentone Elementary Students won new bicycles for “Bringing Up Grades,” or B.U.G. Awards.

The program is sponsored by the Akron and Mentone Kiwanis Club. Students are entered into the bike drawing each 9 weeks when they maintain good grades and raise at least one of their grades. Bikes were sponsored by King Memorial Funeral Home, Hartzler Funeral Home and Ace Hardware of Mentone.

Bike winners for 2014 are Tatum Carlin and Jayden Hounshell.
