Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:

• Sunday, May 25, 10:03 p.m. A reported theft of medications occurred in the 1600 block of East 200 North, Warsaw.
• Sunday, May 25, 7:06 p.m. A battery was reported in the 100 block of EMS B51 Lane, Warsaw. The matter allegedly involved a landlord and tenant.

Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accident:

Monday, May 26, 11:39 a.m. 1701 E. Center St. Drivers: Louise Hopkins, 71, Kuder Lane, Warsaw; and Carol R. Forbes, 76, Camelot Drive, Winona Lake. Hopkins was backing from a parking space at Ace Hardware and backed into the Forbes vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500

• Monday, May 26, 10:20 a.m. A purse was reported stolen at Walmart. The contents included cash, credit/debit cards and personal identification.
