Kenneth “Kenny” Klotz, 61, of Etna Green, Ind., died unexpectedly of natural causes at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014. He was born Jan. 20, 1953, in Bremen to Harold Jr. and Dorothy (Sheets) Klotz.

He graduated from NorthWood High School in 1971. On Nov. 28, 1975, he married June Sechrist at Bourbon Bible Church.

Kenny was a lifetime area resident. He was a custodian at Triton High School for 26 years. He also worked at Family Fare in Nappanee and Plymouth for 18 years. He was a 4-H leader for many years and also coached Little League Baseball. Kenny was an avid fisherman. His family was very important to him. He lived by the motto “family first.”

He is survived by his wife; 4 sons: Kevin (Natalie) Klotz, Richmond, Ind., Nikolas (Ashley) Klotz, Nappanee, Mitchell (Adina) Klotz, Bourbon, and Jason (Kim) Klotz, Dayton, Ohio; 4 granddaughters: Charlie, Reese and Riggin Klotz and one on the way, Amelia, due in 9 days; 6 brothers: Ron (Carol) Klotz, Milford, Keith (Ronda) Klotz, Larry (Vickie) Klotz, Tim Klotz, Gary Klotz, all of Nappanee, and Philip (Pam) Klotz, Wakarusa; 4 sisters: Joyce (Steve) Sechrist, Etna Green, Connie (Richard) Stutzman, Nappanee, JoAnn (Rich) Franco, Leo, Ind., and Donna (Chris) Hare, Syracuse; sister-in-law, Andrea Klotz, Nappanee; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel and 1 hour prior to services, which will be held at the church on at 2 p.m.Wednesday, Nov. 12. Pastor Joe Focht of Nappanee Missionary Church and Pastor Sam Ochstein of Hillside Missionary Church in Mishawaka will officiate. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
