Roger D. CroyRoger D. Croy, 60, of Nappanee, Ind., died at 12:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Hospice House in Elkhart, Ind. He was born July 24, 1954 in Bremen, Ind., to Merl and Phyllis (Stump) Croy.

Roger was a lifetime Gravelton/Nappanee area resident. He was a 1972 graduate of NorthWood High School and attended Ball State University. On Oct. 17, 1987, he married Kimberly Swoveland at Union Center Church of the Brethren in Nappanee. Roger had worked at Eddie’s Bar & Grill and Hunter’s Hideaway in Nappanee for 20 years. He was a courier for “Elkhart Truth” and delivered for McCormick Motor’s and also worked at Monaco. Roger was a big Notre Dame fan and also a Cubs and Cardinals Fan.

Surviving is his wife: Kimberly; son: Neil Croy, West Lafayette, Ind.; father: Merl Croy, Wakarusa, Ind.; brothers, Garry (Mary) Croy and Randy (Bonnie) Croy, both of Nappanee; and Lynn Croy, Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Cremation will take place and family and friends may gather one hour prior to a Memorial Service, celebrating Roger’s life at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
