lois marie davis harmanLois Marie (Davis) Harman, 89, passed away on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, at Kosciusko County Community Hospital.

Lois was born to Floyd and Vivian Davis on Jan. 8, 1925. She attended Mt. Tabor Grade School and graduated from Atwood High School in 1942. She married Deloss Franklin Harman on Feb. 17, 1943, and spent years farming alongside him. She worked at Dalite Screen and Lowery sewing center for many years.

Lois is survived by two sons: Dean (Linda) Harman, Leesburg; Duane (Lori) Harman, New Paris; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Deloss Harman; daughter: Cheryl (Kenny) Fifer; grandson: Richard Fifer; great-great grandson: Tucker Adams; and daughter-in-law: Connie Harman.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at Mishler Funeral Home in Milford. A graveside service is planned for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Leesburg Cemetery. Pastor Greg Harden of Calvary Baptist Church in Leesburg will officiate the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Kosciusko Hospice or Grace Village in Winona Lake.
