OI131707423_BakerDonnaobitphotoDonna Lee Baker, 76, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at 8:25 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at her residence.

Donna was born on March 25, 1938, in Mentone, to Fred Horn and Anna Lavera (Stockberger) Horn. She was married on March 4, 1971, to Burton M. Baker, who passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2010.

She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a 1956 graduate of Mentone High School and a homemaker.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Pamela (David) Girouard, Warsaw; Darlene (Rodney) Day, North Manchester; two sons: Dan (Sonia) Shepherd, Warsaw; Chris Baker, Warsaw; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Shirley (Richard) Wine, Warsaw; Leota Hollway, Talma; Beverly Murphy, Akron.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one grandson: Cory Baker; five brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Kirk Barger. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
