Rose Home North, Syracuse, was the non-profit organization chosen to receive the donation of a like-new 2013 Jeep Sahara Wrangler Unlimited with 564 miles on it.

It will be sold and the funds used to support the Christian, substance-abuse recovery home for women. Lake Wawasee summer residents Jim and Angie Burkhart, Carmel, felt the need to give back to the local community and with the assistance of their property manager, Curt Hursey, chose the Rose Home.

Accepting the keys for the Rose Home North are Harlan Steffen, left, treasurer, and Cindy Chadwell, director. Hursey, right, is doing the presenting. Those who may be interested in purchasing the vehicle should contact Mike Tiltges, 219-776-2277.
