2349Ellen Nadine Fox, 80, formerly of Plymouth, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson.

She was born in Plymouth on Aug. 28, 1934, Nadine was the daughter of John Wilber and Hazel Glenn (Iler) Mowiser. She was a graduate of Argos High School. On April 21, 1956, in Monterey, Nadine married Theodore ‘Ted’ J. Fox and the couple settled in Plymouth. Ted preceded her in death.

Nadine worked as a customer service clerk for NIPSCO for 42 years until her retirement in 1994. She was an avid reader. She also enjoyed traveling with Ted in the summers and going to Florida during the winter months after her retirement. She cherished family reunions and enjoyed any time spent with her family members. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Plymouth.

Nadine is survived by numerous brother-in-laws; sister-in-laws; cousins; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, in the First United Church of Christ, 321 N. Center St., Plymouth, with Rev. AnnMarie Kneebone officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service in the church.

Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery.
