Clifford E. Scarberry, 70, of Bourbon, passed away at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Cliff was born Oct. 15, 1944, to A.J. Scarberry and Avis (Hill) Scarberry at Jackson, Ohio.
He has been a resident of Bourbon since 1962. He retired in 2008 from Burht Engineering of Warsaw as a Welder. Cliff enjoyed car racing and horses.
He is survived by his three children: Todd (Melissa) Scarberry, North Manchester; Deanna (Bernie) Rucker, Lexington, Ky.; Samuel (Leveda) Bird, Bourbon; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister; Martha Long, Warsaw; and three brothers: James (Becky) Scarberry, Bourbon; David (Janice) Scarberry, Skyline, Ala.; and Raymond (Pat) Scarberry, Nappanee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Sharon Hensley.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
