Janet ClarkJanet Louise (Lu) Ragan Clark Robertson, 61, passed away in Auburn, Calif., on Oct. 27, 2014, where she had resided for the past 3 years.

Janet was born Jan. 18, 1953, in Warsaw, to Bert E. and Alma L. (Groat) Ragan. The family moved to Walla Walla, Wash., in 1962. Janet attended Warsaw Community High School her junior year and returned to Washington. She is a 1972 graduate of Walla Walla High School. Janet married Jerry Clark in 1972. On June 9, 2013, in Warsaw, she married Don Robertson and made their home in Auburn, Calif.

After spending 4 years in Oakridge, Ore., the Clarks relocated to Indiana. In high school Janet’s first job was at Penguin Point on Detroit Street in Warsaw, and later, Janet worked at Dalton Foundry and at the Indiana Department of Transportation for 18 years. Throughout her adult life, she continued her education taking classes at both Ivy Tech and IU, Bloomington, earning an Associate’s Degree and lacking only a few courses for a bachelor’s degree. Janet was incredibly liked by everyone she met. She was faith-driven, inspirational, positive, kind, humorous, strong, sensitive, nurturing, a music lover and a grand story teller. She was a beloved daughter, incredible sister, awesome mother, super cousin and a loyal friend. She looked at life as an adventure, and made it adventurous for anyone around her.

She is survived by her mother; sons: Joshua Clark, Bloomington; Jason Clark, Auburn, Calif.; Joey Shepherd, South Whitley; two sisters: Linda (Jim) LoBue, Auburn; Kathy (Rusty) Styles, Elkhart; grandchildren: Nicole Flory, Ashtin Clark and Cadence Shepherd.

She is preceded in death by son: Jeremy Clark; husband: Don Robertson; father; and brother: Daniel Ragan.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
