Robert Krick

Robert Krick, 90, of Plymouth, formerly of Bourbon, died 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at his son’s home in Plymouth. He had been in failing health.

Robert was born Jan. 6, 1923, to John H. Krick and Dora E. (Bowman) Krick at Bourbon,He has been a resident of Bourbon, Kokomo and Plymouth. Bob married Maxine Marie Tusing on Dec. 8, 1945. She preceded him in death. He then married Norma Gale Bates. She preceded him in death.

He was a faithful member of Gospel Light Mission Church of Kokomo. Bob was a United States Army Veteran serving from January 1946 thru January 1949.

He is survived by his son: Jerry and Mary Krick, Plymouth; daughters: Judy (Mrs. Val) Metzger, Warsaw; Sherri and Deane Leeper, Plymouth; Tammy Grubbs, Bremen; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death was his parents; grandson: Joshua; three sisters: Marie, Dorothy and Nettie; along with four brothers: Ernest, Earl, Claude and John.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, to share memories with the family from Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. Funeral services will follow shortly after in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Terry Russell of Gospel Light Mission Church of Kokomo and Military Honors.
