Jacalyn Rae (Jackie) Shilling Tucker, 57, of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly at her home Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014.
She was born May 27, 1957, in Warsaw, to Stanley (Pete) and Ina I. (Rule) Shilling. On Jan. 30, 2001, in Warsaw, she married William H. (Bill) Tucker who survives.
A Warsaw resident all of her life, she was a 1975 Warsaw Community High School graduate. She retired in 2009 from Rohm and Haas, and was currently a supervisor at Penguin Point on E. Center St., in Warsaw.
She loved Penguin Point, (which was her first job as a teenager), and all of her co-workers. Jackie had many friends and was loved by all who knew her. Jackie was especially close to her nieces and nephews and was actively involved in each of their lives.
She is survived by step-children: Randy Tucker, Cathy (Ryan) Reed; four step-grandchildren: Racquel, Ryan and Tabitha Tucker, all of Warsaw; Tucker Reed, all of Warsaw; sisters: Rita A. (John) Craig, Warsaw; DeAnna K. (Mike) Ragan, Warsaw; and Patricia A. (and the late Ron) Yarian, Warsaw; brothers: Douglas E. (Carol) Shilling, Silver Lake; Rodney L. (Julie) Shilling, Warsaw; Spencer T. (Christine) Shilling, Warsaw; aunts: Ella Mae (Bert) Ransbottom, Claypool; Vera M. (and the late John) Homan, Winona Lake; an uncle: Phil Shilling, Kingman, Ariz.; nieces and nephews: Teresa, Anna and Macy Craig; Tammy, Christopher, Trenton and Ryan Seibold; Shawn and Melissa Shilling; Josh, Jessica, Nevaeh and Draven Shilling; Nathan, Sandi and Beth Yarian; Michele, Steve, Stephen, Isaiah and Jacob Jaquez; Liska Shilling; Matt, Abby, Teddy, Tony, Sasha, Joel, Andrea, Knox, Elizabeth, Kaytie Shilling, Sarah, Randy, Whitney, Kinley, Kylan, Nick and Jessica Shilling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Deborah J. Shilling; and a nephew: Troy L. Ragan.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at the funeral chapel. Pastor Earl Futch will officiate the services. Interment will be Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
