Dennis L. Hepler, 55, a resident of Bourbon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at home.

Dennis was born the son of Larry Hepler and Mildred Kay (White) Furfaro at Bremen, on Feb. 16, 1959. He graduated from Triton High School in 1977.

Dennis has been employed as a Pressman printing newspapers most recently the Chicago Tribune and earlier in Stockton, Calif. He had been a resident of Bourbon the past several years. He was a member of the Bourbon American Legion #424 a biker club in Stockton, Calif., and Web Pressmen and Prepress Workers’ Union Local 4N of Stockton.
Dennis was a United States Veteran Serving in the Army from Sept. 30, 1977 to Oct. 1, 1981.

Dennis is survived by his mother; three sisters: Pasto Lois (Mrs. Ron) Cannon, Columbia City; Cindy Cortez and Sherri Hepler, both of Houston, Texas.

Proceeding in death was his father.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. There will be a memorial service conducted at 7 p.m. with a military honors salute just prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
Internment of his remains will be with his family in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
