Mary E. Ashley, 93, of Avon Park, passed away on Sept. 8, 2014.

She was born on Feb. 3, 1921, in Cortland, N.Y., to the late Ross and Mable Huff.

Mary has resided in Florida since 1998, having come from Warsaw. Mary lived most of her life in the Warsaw area. She worked at Warsaw area banks for many years. She was active in the Order of Eastern Star and the Presbyterian Church.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Jayne Ashley of Avon Park, and Joann Getchell of Indianapolis, IN, three grandchildren: Carrie, Jamie, Eric, and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Howard R. (Bud) Ashley.

Visitation is scheduled from 12:20 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. An interment service will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating.
