Madeline Shanklin, 66, Wabash, Ind., passed away at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, in Huntington, Ind.

She was born May 4, 1948, in Logan, W.V., to Ray and Cora Lee (Dalton) Dingess. Madeline was a retired factory worker and enjoyed making crafts, sewing and bingo.

She is survived by two daughters: Sheila Dawn (David) Wilson, North Manchester; Crystal Renee (Glessner) Bradley, North Manchester; three brothers: Wallace Dingess, Servia; Jackie Ray (Tana) Dingess, North Manchester; Oscar Dale (Kathy) Dingess, North Manchester; six sisters: Christean Calloway, North Manchester; Deloris J. Horne, North Manchester; Virgie M. (Jake) Shepherd, Servia; Carolyn R. (Randy) France, North Manchester; Mildred G. (Randy) Eckman, Wabash; Pamela K. Craft, North Manchester; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester. Funeral services will at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at McKee Mortuary, with Pastor J. P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
