FORT WAYNE – The Warsaw girls tennis team continued its winning ways Monday evening.
The Tigers used a pair of three-set wins to edge host Homestead by a 3-2 final.
Warsaw has now won three matches in a row to improve its season mark to 4-5.
Senior Jacqueline Sasso led the way for the Tigers. Sasso posted a 6-2, 0-6, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles.
The Tigers also got a key win at No. 2 doubles from the team of Abbi Baum and Athena Schlitt. The duo prevailed 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
Senior Rachel Alexander continued her fine season with a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles for Warsaw.
Sarah Boyle lost 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and the duo of Anna Hall and Camille Kerlin dropped a 6-3, 6-4 decision at No. 1 doubles for Warsaw.
Warsaw won the junior varsity match by a 10-2 count.
Winning for the JV Tigers in singles play were Mattie Doran, Sydney Hartman, Shelby Roberts and Danielle Straits. Winning for Warsaw in doubles play were the teams of Mallory Bartel and Rosie Fleming, Sydney Peugh and Bonnie Wong, Abby Smith and Sherry Wong, Brooklyn Rummer and Madison Mutchler, Chelsey Farling and Courtney Thompson and Amanda Hermann and Corinna Good.
Warsaw will host NorthWood in a Northern Lakes Conference match Tuesday.
