WARSAW – Kyle Hatch has continued to excel on the wrestling mat during the offseason.

The WCHS freshman has picked up right where he left off in his first prep campaign.

Hatch recently finished first at 113 pounds in the ISWA Freestyle State competition. He was also first at the HYWAY State and took fifth place at the ISWA Folkstyle State event.

Hatch placed eighth in the State Finals among 106-pounders back in February. He was a sectional champion, a regional runner-up and also placed fourth at the semi state during the 2013-14 season.
