Arthur E. Loutzenhiser, 56, of Ligonier, Ind., passed away at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, at his residence.

He was born on Feb. 1, 1958, to Arthur and Shirley Shaffer (Harrell) Loutzenhiser in Goshen, Ind.

He had worked as a production worker at Nibco in Goshen, Ind. Arthur had a passion for repairing cars and tinkering.

He is survived by his companion of 35 years: Jane Null; four children: Monica (Daniel) Rittenberry, Joseph Null, Laura (Arthur) Wiggs, Arthur Null; seven grandchildren: Cassandra, Haylay, Jennifer, Tylar, Joseph Isaac, Alexander, Lilith; and two sisters: Becky Loutzenhiser and Lenore Cripe;

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Rensner officiating. A private cremation committal will take place following the funeral at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
