Roy D. Calvert, 70, of Rochester, passed away Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at his home.

On Jan. 15, 1944, Roy was born in Fulton County to Robert A. and Eldora M. Bowman Calvert.
Roy and Patricia A. Ullery were married on July 4, 1963 at the Talma United Methodist Church.

Roy is lovingly remembered by his wife: Pat; a daughter: Jennifer Berlasty; two sons: Jeffery (Jennifer) Calvert, Gary (Laura) Calvert, all of Rochester; 10 grandchildren: Jessica Berlasty, Jonah Berlasty, Jeremy Sheetz, Jordan Sheetz, Jarod Sheetz, Amber (Ricky) Snelling, Amanda (Andrew) Floyd, Alyssa Calvert, Austin Calvert, Cody Long; six great grandchildren: Gage Sickmiller, Gracie Snelling, Gabbie Snelling, Madison Floyd, Bralynn Floyd, Makenzie Dovich; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Roy in death are his parents, son-in-law: Jeff Berlasty, great granddaughter: Genna L. Snelling, sister: Roberta A. Stevens and brother: Rolland D. Calvert.

Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, from 2-8 p.m and Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, from 9-10 a.m. at Good Family Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will be on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Good Family Funeral Home. Chaplain Jason See will officiate services. Interment will be in the Reichter Cemetery.
