WABASH – The Tippecanoe Valley softball team saved its best for last Wednesday night.

The Vikings staged an incredible seventh-inning rally to top Northfield 11-9 in Three Rivers Conference play.

Valley scored five runs with two outs in their final at-bat to pull out the remarkable league win.

Abby Betten led the way with three hits and five RBI for the Vikings.

Winning pitcher Kassidy Shepherd had two hits and three RBI. Darian Dotson had two RBI for Valley.

Valley improves to 6-5 overall and 1-0 in the TRC.
