AKRON – Visiting Pioneer piled up the hits and the runs to top Tippecanoe Valley in prep softball action Tuesday evening.

Pioneer collected 13 hits en route to blanking the host Vikings 15-0 in five innings.

Katie Bingaman had two hits and three RBI as Pioneer improved to 9-6 on the season.

Valley managed just four hits and committed eight errors in the loss.

The Vikings fall to 5-5 on the season.
