ELKHART – Triton star pitcher Mallorie Jennings notched another milestone moment in the circle Wednesday night.

It helped her team notch a key conference win too.

Jennings recorded the 600th strikeout of her outstanding prep career in pitching the Trojans past host Jimtown 3-1.

Jennings allowed just five hits, while striking out eight and walking just one in the Northern State Conference win.

Allyson Brown came up with the big hit as she delivered a two-run single in the sixth inning for Triton.

Halie Zimmerman had a double and Krystal Sellers scored two runs for the Trojans.

Ashley Alvey hit a solo home run for the Jimmies.
