Erma Hochstetler, 67, of Nappanee, Ind., passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, Oct. 1, 2014, at her home after a battle with cancer.

She was born July 21, 1947, in Goshen, Ind., to the late Jacob and Alma (Yoder) Stoltzfus. On Sept. 19, 1968, she married M. Jay Hochstetler.

She is survived by her husband; daughters: Waneta (Steven) Borkholder, Julie (Edward) Yutzy, of Nappanee, Ind.; Carol (Howard) Kauffman, Lewistown, Mont.; Emily (Eric) Schmucker, Bremen, Ind.; sons: Jeremy Hochstetler, Cromwell, Ind.; Andy (Mindi Yoder) Hochstetler, Milford, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; brother: Allen (Katie) Stoltfux, Middlebury, Ind.; and sister: Carroll (Rudy) Hochstetler, Milford.

She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sons: Matthew and Marcus.

Mrs. Hochstetler was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, and all day Friday, Oct. 3, at the Steven Borkholder residence (7990 CR 101). Funeral Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, also at the Borkholder residence. The Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Weldy Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Burkholder, Wade Yoder, Menno Schwartz, Steve Borkholder, Eli Schwartz and Anthony Miller.
