John Richard Stewart, 39, of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of North Webster, Ind., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at his home.
He was born on June 5, 1975, in Rochester, Ind., to Richard Anthony ‘Tony’ and Samantha K. ‘Sam’ (Sicks) Stewart. He attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse and lived most of his life in the Kosciusko County and Indianapolis areas.
He was employed at Jasper Plastics in Syracuse for
1 year and was the former owner/operator of Stewart Quality Renovations and Repair in Greenfield, Ind., for several years.
He is survived by a daughter: Myranda Atchison, Cromwell, Ind.; a son: Josh Marsh, Shelbyville, Ind; grandson: Talen Thornburg; mother and stepfather: Sam and John Shock, North Webster; father and stepmother: Tony and Chim Stewart, Indianapolis, Ind.; brother: Jace (Liz) Stewart, Syracuse, Ind.; stepsister: Ayem Bien, Indianapolis.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500 N., North Webster. A private family celebration of life service will be held and burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery at a later date.
