Bobby Joe Luce Sr., 56, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 3:14 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born on April 7, 1958, in Austin, Texas, to Jesse Lee Luce and Mildred (Okeeffe) Knapp. He was a resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., since 2005. He worked as a manufacturing engineer for Zimmer Inc. of Warsaw for the past 24 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his fiancée: Kelly Blair, Warsaw; two sons: Bobby Joe Luce, Jr., Austin, Texas; Noah Aaron Luce, Warsaw; two daughters: Jessica Leeann Luce, Manor, Texas; Grace Ann Luce, Warsaw; seven grandchildren: Kaila, Chance, Miriam, Alec, Emily, Izzy and Ella; three brothers: Herman (Evelyn) Luce, Richland Springs, Texas; Ellwood (Faye) Luce, Houston, Texas; Jesse Lee (Threcia) Luce, Warsaw; five sisters: Lola Mae (Don) Campbell, Waco, Texas; Joyce Marie Chatwell, Midland, Texas; Jessie Carol (Jimmy) Chatwell, Rockport, Texas; Anna Belle Martinets, Austin, Texas; Jerry Eller, Richland Springs, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother: James Calvin Luce.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home.
