Mildred Hoover, 86, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away on Sept. 22, 2014, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 12, 1927 in Goshen, Ind., to Noble and Fay (Burson) Ringler. She was married to Ray Hoover, who preceded her in death.

She was a lifelong area resident. She worked for several local business’s throughout her life, and was a homemaker. She attended the Milford Brethren church.

She is survived by her three daughters: Sue Brown, Syracuse; Sandy (Marion) Lilly, Syracuse; Kelly (Jeff) Rhodes, Delphi, Ind.; one son: Noble Hoover, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one brother: Mike Ringler, Goshen, Ind.

She was preceded in death by one son and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Eastlund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery.
