UPDATE: Rollover on U.S. 30

Marijuana and methamphetamine may have been a factor in a Saturday accident on U.S. 30 30 in Warsaw.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies investigated the single vehicle roll-over crash that happened at 8:31 a.m. on U.S. 30 near CR 325 East. The driver of the vehicle, Nakya M. Ramseyer, 18, of Fort Wayne, said she dozed off at the wheel, causing her vehicle to drift into the media.

Ramseyer said she awoke and tried gain control of the vehicle, but overcorrected. The vehicles crossed over both lanes of traffic, exited the road and rolled over. Ramseyer was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for a legal blood draw.

Damages were estimated up to $25,000.
