Harold L. Rockenbaugh, 78, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 17, 2014, at Grace Village Healthcare.
He was born Dec. 3, 1935, in Noble County, Ind., to Floyd and Dorothy (Chiddister) Rockenbaugh.
A lifelong area resident, Mr. Rockenbaugh was a Millersburg High School graduate and press and boiler room operator at Goshen Rubber Manufacturing for 46 years. He also served in the U.S. Army as a medic.
He is survived by four children: Kirk (Deb) Rockenbaugh, Warsaw, Ind.; Kevin Rockenbaugh, Goshen, Ind.; Kelly (Don) Ellison, Warsaw; Kristi (Phil) Kochheiser, Dublin, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Martha Rockenbaugh.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Levi, Howard, Calvin and Judy Rockenbaugh.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at the funeral home. Pastor Glenn Byers will officiate. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery, Millersburg, Ind.
