FRANKLIN – The Warsaw girls track team was well represented Friday night at the Franklin Central Distance Showcase.

The Tigers’ 4 X 800 relay team turned in a season-best performance to notch a third-place finish in the event featuring talent from across the state.

The quartet of Brooke Rhodes, Hannah Dawson, Allison Miller and Anna Craig clocked in at a season-best time of 9:41.61 for coach Scott Erba’s squad.

The team from Bellmont won the race in 9:28.16. Host Franklin Central was second in 9:40.72.

Warsaw, which is 4-0 on the season, returns to action Tuesday night with a Northern Lakes Conference meet at Northridge versus the host Raiders along with Wawasee.
