Glova M. Weaver, 86, of rural Macy, Ind., and rural Akron, Ind., passed at 2:19 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at Woodbridge Health Care of Logansport, Ind.

She was born on June 5, 1928, Jasper County, Ind., Odos and Bessie (Timm) Poisel. She was married on Dec. 11, 1954, in Tracy, Ind., to Lloyd M. Weaver. He preceded her in death.

Glova was a homemaker as well as working with her husband on the farm. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Rochester, Ind., and the Luther-Anns Church Group.

She is survived by her daughter: Sharon (Kent) Mills, Denver, Ind.; sons: Larry (Brenda) Weaver; John Pope; four grandchildren: Chrystal Vandermark, Nathan Vandermark, Travis Weaver and Michael Weaver; seven great-grandchildren: Eric, Emily, Bailey, Isabelle, Joscelin, Maddex and Mason; sister: Marietta Morrell, Buffalo, Minn.;

She was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd Weaver; sister: Doris Watson; brothers: Charles, Dallas and Fred Poisel.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 22, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 West Rochester St., Akron. Reverend Herbert Gerken will officiate. Burial will be in Athens Cemetery, Athens, Ind.
