Fort Wayne Company Expands To Indianapolis
Asher Agency, a full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency, has opened an Indianapolis office to service existing and new clients. Asher is headquartered in Fort Wayne and also has offices in Atlanta, Ga.; Cary, N.C.; Lexington, Ky.; and Oklahoma City, Okla.; and one soon opening in Charleston, W.Va.
Margaret Davidson has been hired as vice president of strategic development to head up Asher’s Indianapolis office. Margaret, a DePauw University graduate, brings more than 25 years of advertising industry experience in the creation and execution of branding campaigns across multiple business segments. She previously worked as a Partner/Senior VP at MZD Advertising and Chief Marketing Officer at the Indiana State Fair.
The new Indianapolis office is at 255 N. Alabama St. at the corner of East New York and North Alabama streets, in the Lockerbie Commons Firehouse. The building was constructed in 1913 as the headquarters and downtown station for the Indianapolis Fire Department, and in 2000 the property was renovated to National Historic guidelines for multi-tenant office space.
“Asher has experienced substantial growth due to our exceptional staff and commitment to our clients,” said the agency’s president, Tom Borne. “Adding Margaret to our staff will help us build on this success.”
