Marjorie L. West, 97, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 3 a.m. at Mason Health and Rehab of Warsaw.

She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., living most of her life in Warsaw where she was a homemaker. Marjorie was a 1934 graduate of Mentone High School.

She was born on March 18, 1917 in Burket, Ind., to Walter Ray Parks and Ercie A. (Wierick) Parks. On May 19, 1934, she was married to Arthur S. West, who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1993.

She is survived by her two sons: Ron (Carolyn) West, Leesburg, Ind.; Michael (Judy) West, Milford, Ind.; two daughters: Marjean (Dick) Saltsgiver, Bradenton, Fla.; Deborah Gittelson, New York, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: Jim L. West; daughter: Marjorie Wolford; three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Rob Seawald.
