Darlene B. Klemmedson, 82, North Manchester, Ind., formerly of Aurora, Ill., passed at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

She was born Dec. 16, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., to Alvin F. and Mae E. (Good) Brightbill.

In 1990 she retired from AT&T, Montgomery, Ill., after several years of service. She loved spending time with her family, classical music, ice cream, crafting and stamp collecting. She also enjoyed photography and beading.

She is survived by two daughters: Karin E. (Michael) Grosso, Charlotte, Mich.; Jenny K. (Douglas) Graham, Rockford, Ill.; one brother: David L. Brightbill, Bridgewater, Va.; two sisters: Rebecca ‘Becky’ (David) Waas, North Manchester; Faith Brightbill, Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren: Michael (Rachel) Grosso Jr.; Anthony Grosso; Maria Grosso; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East St., North Manchester. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East St., North Manchester with Reverend Kolleen Klemmedson officiating. Arrangements entrusted to McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN.
